Milan is hands down one of the best food destinations in the world and you can easily get overwhelmed with the big choice of restaurants.

We decided to make a list of the coolest restaurants in the city, which means places where you won’t only eat well but where you’ll also have a fun time and enjoy the decor - special restaurants that will give you an all around good experience.

Langosteria

You can’t go to Milan without going to Langosteria, or at least that’s how I feel about my favourite restaurant in the city. Langosteria has some of the best fish dishes I have ever had and the atmosphere is absolutely amazing - cozy, tasteful and perfect.

Penelope a Casa is one of the most magical restaurants in Milan. The decor is fun, the food is great and you are bound to have a good time. The location is great for date night or big dinners with friends.

I can’t think of anything better than great food and beautiful flowers in the same place - Potafiori is exactly this, both a restaurant and a plant shop you’ll find a wonderful atmosphere and you’ll feel at home right away. The cocktails are also to die for.

At Contraste you won’t find food, you’ll find art. Contraste has one star Michelin and Chef Matias Perdomo will take you through an amazing journey - there is no menu, the food will find you. Obviously getting a table here is a bit harder so make sure you book way in advance.

A fun place with good food - the “Menu Degustazione” is delicious and costs EUR 30 and you can’t leave without having had a cocktail. Perfect place to have a nice dinner with friends.

The place to go if you want a nice rooftop when the weather is nice. Ceresio 7 is the perfect dinner spot but you can also just go for drinks. A great location for dinner with friends and a chilled atmosphere.
