Champagne Thanksgiving Turkey

Cooking Turkey with Champagne already sounds quite “wow” so if you’re hosting and let your guests know about this extra touch they will definitely be very curious. The holy rule when roasting Turkey is LIQUIDS! I have learned that you really really need to keep your Turkey moist if you want the outcome to be nice and juice and not dry like a shoe sole so this Champagne + Chicken Broth mixture was really perfect for me.

Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Parmesan

It’s Brussels Sprout season and I can make my favorite Brussels Sprout dish again: Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Parmesan. I love this dish either as a light meal with some cuscus, quinoa or rice or as a side dish accompanying fish, meat or tofu. Brussels Sprouts are extremely easy to clean and cook and have a very special flavor - I really like adding the parmesan on the top at the end of the bake time as it really mixes well with the sprout taste and gives them an additional crunchiness. You can also make the vegan version and leave the parmesan out or add vegan cheese.

Candied Pecans

I have become absolutely obsessed with Candied Pecans since I discovered them. Originally I was playing around with them to create fun Thanksgiving recipes but I quickly realised that they go well with so many things. My favourite salad now has goat cheese and candied pecans, but you can also add them to your breakfast yogurt or muesli or even try them with a chicken or tuna salad or just eat them as a snack on their own.
