Summer is my absolute favourite season in Zürich and there is nothing better than eating out when the sun is out.

I have finally come around to doing the guide for my home town - Lugano - below you’ll find where to eat, drink and sleep in this charming city in the south of Switzerland. It was definitely not easy to list my favourite restaurants as there are really a lot of great places where you can eat or snack. The best part of a trip to Lugano is combining something a bit more fancy with an evening at a “Grotto” to see everything the city has to offer.

With that in mind, I decided it was about time to compile a list of my preferred gelato pit stops in Zürich. Let me tell you, it was no easy task to arrange them in order of preference, but Gelateria Oro managed to win me over this year and rightfully claims the number one spot. That being said, all of these gelaterias are equally delightful in their own way.
