Chocolate Turrón
Turrón, or torrone, is a special nougat dessert that is very popular in Spain and Italy. It’s usually made with honey, sugar and egg white and sometimes almonds or other nuts. This year we decided to make a very special Chocolate Turrón version made with Alprose Chocolate, Salted Corn Nuts and Corn Flakes - trust us everyone will love it!
Churros
Churros are very famous fried dough pastries which can be found in Spain, Portugal and South America. Churros are usually eaten either with hot chocolate, dulce de leche or simply with sugar but many people also eat them with jam, lemon curd or peanut butter. Churros are delicious no matter what you eat them with.
Vegan Chocolate Cookies
Vegan Cookies are definitely not just for vegans - try these ones and you will understand why. They are fluffy, delicious and 100% chocolatey! The only real difference is that you will be working with vegan butter and almond milk - how could they not be good. When making these cookies make sure you don’t make a lot more or a lot less than 16 as this means that you will have made cookies that are too big or too small and this will affect the cooking time in the oven.
Jam Filled Christmas Cookies
These Jam Filled Christmas Cookies are not only a Christmas classic but are also one of my favorite kind of cookies. The best thing about them is that they are super easy to make and you can really get creative with them using all kinds of shapes and tastes.
Ginger Cookies
Ginger Cookies are a Christmas favorite - golden and crunchy on the outside, soft and addictive on the inside. The most important thing when it comes to Ginger Cookies are the ground ginger and ground cinnamon - the better the quality the better will be the taste of the cookies.
Caramel Apple Cake with Pecans
If you like apple cakes and caramel this cake is definitely for you! I have always enjoyed a nice apple cake but sometimes feel like it’s missing something and now I understood what - an additional layer of Pecan Crumble and Caramel! This cake is very easy to make and will definitely surprise you. I also decided to warm it up a bit again (microwave or oven) before serving it and it gave the cake a little extra kick.
Chocolate and Pear Cake
This Chocolate and Pear Cake was really something else - I’m usually not the biggest fan of pears in desserts but I must admit that after making and trying this cake I completely changed my mind. The chocolate and pear mix so well together and the pear adds an additional texture and taste which makes everything taste so great. The prep time for this cake is only at 20 minutes, which means you can quickly make it, toss it in the oven and then return to check on it.
Molten Chocolate Cake
Molten Chocolate Cake was my favorite dessert as a child and it had been a really long time since I had made one and since I was craving some chocolate I decided to treat myself. The moment the spoon cuts through the cake and the chocolate comes out is a moment most people experience at the restaurant and I am always so surprise as to how easy it is to make this dessert. Guests will be impressed if you make this let me tell you!
Pecan Pie
Pecan Pie is one of the most famous dishes of Southern U.S origin and is served on many occasions including Thanksgiving. We love to have it with Vanilla Ice Cream or Whipped Cream. Bring a taste of the U.S to your house with this maple syrup based Pecan Pie and delight your guests and family.
Chocolate Muffins
When it comes to Muffins I love to experiment and try out different kinds of flavours and chocolates but my all time favourites are the Munz Dark Chocolate Muffins made with Munz Chocolate 70%. You can also add chocolate chips if you want to make your muffins even more “chocolatey”.
Munzmisù (Munz Tiramisù)
Tiramisù is delicious: fluffy with a soft coffee taste and it has the ability to remind you of your favourite Italian restaurant right away. I always enjoyed Tiramisù but at the same time felt like it would taste even better with an additional chocolate taste and a crunchier layer - and this is how the Munzmisù was born.
Chestnut Cream (Créme de Marrons)
You can use this delicious Chestnut Cream to make cakes, the famous Vermicelles or simply to eat it with bread. You can either do it without adding milk (which will make it vegan and will make it last longer in the fridge) or you can choose to make it with milk which will give it a creamier texture but will last only 3/4 days.
Salted Corn & Chocolate Treats
These Salted Corn & Chocolate Treats are the easiest dessert you can make, there is pretty much no cooking required just melting, freezing and grinding and you can make them in whatever shape or form you prefer. We used delicious Munz Dark Chocolate (70%) as well as the Munz Stängli which we love to make the two chocolate layers.
Cheesecake with Tomato Jam by Max & Otto
This cheesecake is very special not only because of the Tomato Jam topping (who would have thought Tomatoes taste so delicious in a dessert) but also because of the 3 cookie layer (Cereal Cookies, Butter Cookies and Oat Cookies all mixed together) and the cooking procedure (creating steam instead of just putting it into the oven).
Green Tea Tiramisù
Tiramisù was the first ever dessert I made so i have a very special connection to it. I have experimented a lot with it and made many different variations and have to say that my favourite one so far, besides the original Tiramisù, is this Green Tea version. The Green Tea taste combined with the Mascarpone cream go perfectly well together and it makes the Tiramisù a little bit lighter than the coffee based one.
Minor Chocolate Chip Cookies
Chocolate Chip Cookies are absolutely delicious and we partnered up with Minor to create the most delicious cookies ever! The Minor Stängli chocolate is perfect to make chocolate chip cookies as it remains quite soft and has a slight taste of hazelnut which really brings the cookies together.
Crêpe Suzette
Crêpes Suzette is a typical French dessert made with a crêpe and an orange, butter and Grand Marnier sauce. Grand Marnier is an orange based liqueur from France made with the distilled essence of bitter orange and sugar, you can use the Italian Gran Gala as a substitute or any other orange based liquor if you can’t find Grand Marnier.
Basic Crêpe (Sweet or Savoury)
With this basic crêpes recipe you will be able to make both sweet and savoury crêpes in no time. The only ingredients you will need are: eggs, flour, milk and butter and a non-stick frying pan or a crêpes pan if you are planning on making these a lot.
Chocolate Chip Cookies
Who doesn’t love Chocolate Chip Cookies - we like our cookies to be soft, not too sweet, and filled with chocolate (I don’t want to take a bite without a piece of chocolate)! We played around quite a bit before figuring out what the best recipe is and sharing it with you and hope you love them. Good for freezing and ready in 15 minutes.
